"So, what are we going to do? Just watch cars?" was my 12-year old cousin asked and when we got to the Franschhoek Motor Museum she was one of the most intrigued members of our party. She eagerly read the information plagues and look at the cars. The Museum is an experience like no other. It is has a peacful exterior with a fasinating history hidden behind the walls. We love learning about every car, motherbike and even the petrol history. Learning about South Africa's innovation and contribution to cars was inspiring. It is an experience I would gladly repeat because we only saw 80 of the almost 400 cars they had. - Cliffordene
The layout of the museum is at an ease for viewing. The friendly staff and welcome drinks made it a very welcoming experience. The selections of cars are great because we didn't just see very early model cars, there were an amazing mix of iconic cars of each era, early models that explain the evolution of automobiles. It was a museum that provided for my family day out and for me as car fanatic. Very clean and fresh grounds. After our visit, we especially liked the Rupert resturant. Menu was great with a nice mix if vegetarian options. - Ravi
Our family visits once per year. Always something new to see. The kids love it. Surprisingly, the coffee and sandwiches are great and reasonably priced. Entry fee is also reasonable. This is a nice touch in Cape Town where no tourism destination would pass on an opportunity to over-charge on coffee and food. Thank you! - Demitrios
It was an amazing experience. Loved the transition from old to new. - Charmaine
I enjoyed the experience, the information close to the cars was helpful and self paced visit is the best. - Siyasanga
